Physical Appearance
Flaming red hair cascades down her back briefly distracting one from her oddly coloured eyes. Her left eye is golden like an autumnal sunset over the Inner Sea. Her other eye is bright silver and reflects like the moon, always changing and writhing like a rough sea of mercury. Her pale skin resembles ivory and is smooth and delicate as a fine silk garment. She is slender and around 5' 4” in height.
At times when she wears her deep grey cloak, it is kept wrapped about her hiding her other features from view. At other times the cloak is thrown back revealing a slender pale female body of good comeliness. Her pale slim frame is contrasted by the flame red and orange garments that hug her figure lustily. She seems not to notice her semi-nakedness preferring to notice the reactions of those about her instead.
Soft brown leather boots wrap around her feet. A small reptile head peers out from a large pouch about her waist, with a challenging stare.
Despite looking for the most part human she has a distance and look in her eyes that suggests an otherworldly heritage.
Background
Kisarra is a tiefling.
As far as she knows her mother was a human who died in childbirth and her father was an otherworldly fiend who she has never met. After her mother died she was brought up by other family members and family friends, but they were always quick to make excuses and pass her on as soon as her fiendish looks and heritage became apparent. When she was about six she was abandoned beside a trail in the forest and found by a female half-elf named Lymia travelling through. She took pity on her due to her mixed heritage and took her with her as her personal assistant as she travelled around the area offering simple healing in exchange for food. She learnt elven and the simple arts of healing.
After nearly a decade on the road, they were ambushed by orcs one night. Lymia was killed and Kisarra was taken as a slave. For six months she was caged and tortured by the orcs as a source of amusement. One day they left the lair and never returned – presumed dead. She managed eventually to escape, discovering in the process her aptitude for magic and found her way to the nearest temple to ask for healing and aid. It was a temple of Calistria and the elves inside were impressed by her knowledge of their tongue and agreed to take her in if she swore allegiance to their goddess.
She stayed in the temple for nearly forty years, at first an initiate and later as one of the Sacred Prostitutes that honoured the work of the goddess. She discovered a fiery lust inside herself that she began over time to associate with her fiendish background. She used this to honour the goddess and satisfy her own desires for several years. She became known as “The Pale One” amongst temple visitors. During this time she had an increasing urge to explore more of the arcane talent that showed itself years before when she escaped the orcs' lair. Using her diplomacy and rank within the local community she managed to acquire the occasional text from travelling mages or merchants. She gradually became more and more obsessed with the magic power within herself and she secretly learned the ways of the witch.
Her next turning point came when she called her familiar. At once she knew that she must leave the temple and seek to discover the source of her inner fire through the study of magic and witchcraft.
She left the temple one morning after praying all night. Her sisters at the temple knew she was increasingly frustrated by the quiet temple life but could not bring themselves to speak to her about it as she became increasingly distant. So she left the temple without their knowledge and decided to travel to the largest city she knew – Absalom in search of magical wisdom and the source of the fire within. She plans to seek out the Pleasure Salon of Calistria and seek work or information from the sisters at the temple.
Current Whereabouts
Kisarra currently resides in Absalom in the Coins District, close to the other party members whom she met upon her arrival at the docks that fateful day. She has become a master of disguise, often appearing as a teenage human girl with blonde hair whilst in public in the busy city she seems to distrust.
She spends most of her time in research or at the temple of Calistria, honouring the goddess who is a large part of her life.
